Step 1
Determine the size of your waterbody and measure out the amount of Aquashade needed.
Treatment Area (4 Feet Deep) | Aquashade – 0.5 PPM* | Aquashade – 0.8 PPM* | Aquashade – 1.5 PPM* |
---|---|---|---|
Up To 1/4 Acre | 20 oz | 32 oz | 60 oz |
Up To 1/2 Acre | 40 oz | 64 oz | 120 oz |
Up To 1 Acre | 80 oz | 1 gal | 1.9 gal |
Parts per million*
Step 2
Pour the desired amount of Aquashade directly into the water body from the shoreline in 1 to 2 locations.
Tips
For best results, apply Aquashade as a pre-emergent (prior to plant germination) before the growing season. Aquashade may even be applied directly onto ice cover, (where applicable). Using Aquashade during the growing season will suppress the rate and extent of underwater growth but may not eliminate it.
Allow at least one hour for Aquashade to disperse throughout the water body before using water for swimming, irrigation, or livestock watering and avoid pouring concentrate within 50 ft. of these intake/use areas, allowing dye to self-disperse into them.
See label for complete use directions.
